We approached this project with one clear goal: to make it feel deeply personal — like a visual extension of Arath’s own life and emotional journey. Balboa isn’t just an album; it’s a collection of experiences, memories, and questions that come from a real place. Our job as directors was not to impose a concept, but to listen — to understand what each song meant to Arath and find a way to translate that meaning into images that felt honest and close. We leaned into moments of silence, of stillness, of vulnerability, building a visual language that could carry the same weight as his lyrics. Every decision — from the texture of the light to the spaces we filmed in — was made to reflect the emotional world behind his music. In the end, this project is a portrait: not just of an artist, but of a human being working through love, loss, hope, and everything in between.
